Ps Fred and Yvonne Lues began a home Bible study group on Saturday mornings in 1990 which grew into a small church. Elohim Church was started in 1992 as Ps Fred was called by God to minister to the Chinese
community.
Ps John and Jenny Rose were sent to assist the family during their time of loss. Ps Fred's son, Tony Fok took responsibility for running the ministry, but after 2 years he felt that he was not called to pastor the church.
Pastors Shaun and Karen have been inducted as the senior Pastors of Elohim Meyersdal Community Church and we are trusting that this ministry will grow and develop from strength to strength.
